Child's Play
Adults miss the obvious. But children, they see it.
A girl is
playing Eye-Spy with her mother on a suburban train.
“… Something
beginning with ‘Y’”, says the girl. Mum, stumped, gives up.
“You!”, says the girl pointedly.
Ten Men in One
If you feel you are more than one person, not multiple personalities, but multiple people in one, not a pathological syndrome but a physiognomic one, keep your many "spirits" of your disposition and do not attempt to harness them into one--for you may not be able to. Celebrate the many parts of you. Nurture each one. Nurture each one. So says God in me.
